The enhancement in throughput provided by JITI is astonishing. It's the A.I. enabled network interface card in the industry and the best performance card in the market. With JITI, the improved DE-220 Family Ethernet Adapter's performance is sure to benefit most our users. The DE-220 Family Ethernet Adapter Rev. D and Rev.E supports the Full Duplex mode when using the 10BaseT media which provides the 20M Bits bandwidth for data transferring. If the adapter have the BNC media, it can only be configured to Half Duplex Mode. 2.0 Overview ------------ All drivers will automatically detect the hardware information including I/O base address and IRQ. The network media connector type will also be automatically detected during driver initialization. After inserting the DE-220 Family Ethernet Adapter into a slot, it is strongly recommended to run INSTALL.EXE in the DOS environment. Then follow onscreen instructions to complete the installation process. 2.1 About INSTALL.EXE --------------------- Before running the install.exe, please insert the DE-220 Family Ethernet Adapter into ISA bus slot in your computers. The install.exe program will find the available resource (IO base address and Interrupt number) for the DE-220 Family Ethernet Adapter automatically. For the Netware DOS Client users: --------------------------------- Selecting the "Quick Installation for Netware Client" item of the install.exe, installation program will copy the DE-220 driver to the computer and modified the autoexec.bat file of the computer. After installation, just restart the computer and will connect to the Netware server automatically. For the other users: -------------------- Running install.exe will display the installation instructions. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation process. 3.0 To view installation notes ------------------------------ Each directory contains text files which provides you with detailed installation instructions for drivers in that directory. We hope our new readmes and installations will minimize the users effort to make our products work.
